Becoming a Landlord on Earth and in Heaven

“Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
— Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)

There is an amazing testimony that was once shared with me. A pastor once received a phone call. The person on the other end asked, “Are you Pastor so-and-so, from so-and-so location?” “Yes, I am,” the pastor replied. Then the caller said, “Please find time to see me.” The pastor asked, “Why? What is it about?” The voice simply replied, “Just come.”

When the pastor arrived at the address, he was surprised to see a large mansion with a beautiful gate and a spacious compound. As he entered, the man who had called him earlier came out and said,
“God told me to give you this house. Please take it, and tell your God to leave me alone.” The gift does not come with willingness, yet God brought to the pastor.

When God decides to bless, He does so beyond our imagination and His ways are beyond comprehension to an ordinary mind. But His promises are not automatic — they are conditional on obedience, faith, and righteousness.

What to Do to Experience Divine Building

  1. Please the Lord with your ways. “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Obedience opens doors that hard work alone cannot.
  2. Fear, love, and serve Him sincerely. God is not impressed by lip service. He honours those who genuinely revere Him and make Him first in their lives.
  3. Avoid shortcuts and dishonesty. Ill-got wealth brings hidden curses. Every house built on lies eventually crumbles.
  4. Be faithful in tithing and giving. Divine prosperity flows through covenant obedience. God releases resources to those He can trust to steward them rightly.

When you please God, He not only helps you build physically but also establishes your household spiritually and generationally.

The Greater Building: A Mansion in Heaven

Jesus said in John 14:1–3 KJV:

“Let not your hearts be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye ma be also”.

If Christ can build you a mansion in eternity, He can certainly provide one here on earth. But here lies the deeper truth: it’s not enough to build houses on earth, ensure you have one in heaven. What good is it to own estates yet lose your soul? There are many landlords in hell, not because they built, but because they never surrendered to Christ. Your eternal home matters more than your earthly property. Therefore, as you pray for divine provision, also ensure your life is aligned with God’s eternal plan.

Pray These Prayers:

  • O Lord, arise in Your power and silence every power militating against my plan to build my house in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, provide everything I need to build my house both financially and materially in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, bless my life, business, career, family, marriage and ministry with the riches of your glory in Jesus Name.

“I have riches and honor, as well as enduring wealth and justice” – Proverbs 8:18

  • My Father, surprise me with a miracle house in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, set ablaze every gathering of the evil that is stopping me from building my house in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, before the end of this year, I will build my own house in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, turn my life around miraculously in Jesus Name. My Father, let the joy and celebration of a new house be announced concerning me in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, grant me the spiritual grace and unction to build my house stress free in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, I decree and declare every power stopping the possibility of building my house to wither away in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, use the miracle and testimony of my new house to silence my enemies in Jesus Name.
  • My Father, let every of your great and beautiful plans for my life come to full manifestation in Jesus Name.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” – Jeremiah 29:11

  • O Lord, grant and release upon me your supernatural speed to start my house projects and finish it early in Jesus Name.
  • My Father, send your fire and consume every generational yoke stopping me from building my house in Jesus Name.
  • Father, I shall not lack, I shall not want but I shall have everything I need for my house construction supplied to me in full measures in Jesus Name.
  • My Father, by this time next year, I will be living in my own house in Jesus Name.
  • My Father, change my name from tenant to landlord in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, separate me from people delaying my life and career progress in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, through my life people will know that you are a God of prosperity in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, arise in your power and help me to miraculously finish my house building project in Jesus Name.
  • Father, I decree that I will never beg to build my house in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, every demonic ancestral forces stopping my house project are hereby exposed, disgraced and rendered powerless over my life in Jesus Name.
  • O Lord, grant me supernatural speed to start and finish my project.
  • Father, change my name from tenant to landlord, in Jesus’ name.
  • Oh Lord, use my testimony to glorify Your name and silence my enemies.

Remember, your story can change in one divine encounter. The same God who turned tenants into landlords, and labourers into owners, is still at work today.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
— Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
